The Polish world No. 4 dispatched the 51st-ranked German player 6-2, 6-3 in the second round of the women's singles on Wednesday after an hour and a half on court, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
It was Świątek's first match under her new Spanish coach Francisco Roig.
The 24-year-old Pole, who won the clay-court tournament in Stuttgart in 2022 and 2023, had a bye in the first round.
She will now face Russian Mirra Andreeva for a place in the last four.
The 2026 Stuttgart Open runs until Sunday.
