Motorsports: Polish team defends Le Mans title

Poland's Inter Europol Competition team successfully defended its title at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in France.

The Warsaw-based Inter Europol Competition teams No. 43 car, driven by Jakub Śmiechowski, Tom Dillmann and Nick Yelloly, won the LMP2 class at this years 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race. The team grabbed a one-two sweep, with its No. 343 sister car, driven by Bijoy Garg, Reshad de Gerus and Nico Mller, taking second place.

The Polish team delivered a spectacular one-two finish in the LMP2 class at one of motorsport's most prestigious events last weekend.

Meanwhile, Polish driver Robert Kubica and his team were unable to repeat their Hypercar triumph from a year earlier, finishing seventh in the premier category.
