The presentation will mark Lewandowski's first official day with the club since signing his contract, but unlike Lionel Messi's high-profile unveiling by Inter Miami in 2023, the midseason arrival of the Polish striker will not include a stadium ceremony or large public celebration, Poland's PAP news agency reported.
Lewandowski will train with his new teammates on Tuesday, with the opening 15 minutes of the session open to the media, before joining Berhalter for a news conference later in the day.
Ahead of his departure for the United States, Lewandowski visited the US embassy in Warsaw, where he told Chicago Fire supporters in a short interview posted on the embassy's Instagram account that they would "be happy with the team and satisfied with the results," adding that he "likes celebrating titles."
Tuesday's introduction will take place at the club's state-of-the-art training centre, which opened last year.
Berhalter has said Lewandowski was impressed by the facility, describing it as superior to the training bases he experienced during spells at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
Chicago Fire return to MLS action on Thursday when they host the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Canadian club features former Bayern Munich teammate Thomas Müller.
Although local media have reported that Chicago hopes Lewandowski will make his debut against Vancouver, the US club has not confirmed whether he will play.
