Good weekend for Polish sport

The past weekend saw an impressive series of successes for Polish sport, as tennis players won major tournaments and kayakers and canoers claimed a total of seven medals at this year’s world championships.

Polish Tennis player Hubert Hurkacz has chalked up his first ATP title, Magda Linette scored her first WTA win, and Polish kayakers and canoers won seven medals, six silver and one bronze, at this year’s Canoe Sprint World Championships in Szeged, Hungary.
