Poland hockey players infected with coronavirus

Three players with the Polish national ice hockey team have tested positive for the coronavirus, officials announced on Sunday.

Forwards Damian Kapica and Filip Komorski and defender Arkadiusz Kostek last month took part in a training camp in Warsaw.

"Immediately after the tests came back positive ... we contacted the players, coaches and the State Sanitary Inspectorate,” said Mirosław Minkina, head of the Polish Ice Hockey Federation (PZHL).

Poland in June appointed Slovak Robert Kalaber as the new coach of its national men’s ice hockey team.
