Athletics: Two medals for Poland in Belgrade

Poland won two medals, a silver and a bronze, at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships, which ended in Belgrade on Sunday.

On the last day of competition in the Serbian capital, the Polish women’s 4x400 metres relay team of Natalia Kaczmarek, Iga Baumgart-Witan, Kinga Gacka and Justyna Święty-Ersetic took the bronze, finishing in 3:28.59 behind Jamaica and the Netherlands.

Two days earlier, Poland's Adrianna Sułek claimed the silver in the women’s pentathlon, setting a new national record of 4,851 points.

The World Athletics Indoor Championships were held in Belgrade from March 18 to 20.
