McNally, who is ranked world No. 151 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), on Thursday defeated home favourite Karolina Muchova 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 in the second round in Ostrava to set up a clash with the Polish star.
The 21-year-old Pole on Wednesday saw off Australian Ajla Tomljanović, who retired in the second set due to a knee injury, trailing 5-7, 2-2 in their second-round match.
Świątek, who is the top seed in the tournament, had a bye in the first round.
The Polish player last month won the US Open, claiming her seventh title this year.
