Poland's Magda Linette through to the fourth round of the Australian Open

For the first time in her career, Magda Linette is through to a grand-slam fourth round, having beaten Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova 6:3 6:4.

Magda Linette from Poland is ranked 45 in women's singles, but has defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova, ranked 18. For the first time in her career she is through to a grand slam fourth round.

In the fourth round she will face Caroline Garcia, currently ranked number 4.
