Motorsports: Latvian driver wins 79th Rally Poland

Latvian driver Mārtiņš Sesks has won this year's Rally Poland, which ended in the northeastern Polish lakeside resort of Mikołajki on Sunday.

New Zealand's Hayden Paddon came in second, and home favourite Mikołaj Marczyk finished third in the annual rally, which was held for the 79th time.

More than 80 international crews took part in the 79th Rally Poland, which was also the third round of the European Championship, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
