The 25-year-old Pole, who is ranked world No. 72 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), defeated Romanian Sorana Cîrstea 6-3, 6-7, 6-4 in their second-round clash in Birmingham on Thursday.
Fręch will now take on second-seeded Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia for a place in the semifinals.
Meanwhile, Poland's Magda Linette has booked her place in the semifinals of the women’s doubles competition at the Birmingham Open, together with Bernarda Pera of the United States.
The 2023 Birmingham Open, a warm-up event before Wimbledon, runs until Sunday.
