The Polish tennis ace on Sunday defeated Laura Siegemund of Germany 6-0, 6-1 in the final of the Poland Open tournament in Warsaw, claiming her 15th career singles title.
Świątek, coached by countryman Tomasz Wiktorowski, has topped the WTA world rankings since April 4, 2022.
The 22-year-old now leads the world rankings with 9,490 points, ahead of Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka with 8,845 points, and Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina with 5,465 points.
The second-highest ranked Polish female player, Magda Linette, retained her No. 25 spot in the latest WTA rankings.
Meanwhile, countrywoman Magdalena Fręch moved down from 79th to 80th place in the new world rankings, which were released on Monday.
