Tennis: Poland’s Hurkacz moves into 2nd round at Swiss Indoors in Basel

Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz has booked his place in the second round of the Swiss Indoors tournament in Basel.

The 26-year-old on Tuesday defeated Serbia's Dušan Lajović 7-6, 6-3 in the first round of the men’s singles at the indoor tournament in Switzerland.

The Polish player, who is world No. 11, will next play Jan-Lennard Struff of Germany.

The Pole, who is coached by American Craig Boynton, has seven singles titles to his name.
