Tennis: Poland’s Hurkacz through to 2nd round of Rotterdam Open

Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz has made it through to the second round of the Rotterdam Open tennis tournament in the Netherlands.

The 27-year-old Pole, ranked world No. 8 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), defeated Jiří Lehečka of the Czech Republic, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, in the first round on Wednesday.

Hurkacz is playing for his eighth career singles title in Rotterdam.
