The race was won by France’s Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (Visma–Lease a Bike), who launched a decisive solo attack around 6.5 km from the finish line on the ninth and final stage from Praz-sur-Arly to Châtel Les Portes du Soleil (124 km). The 33-year-old crossed the line ahead of Dutch rider Demi Vollering.

Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phiney, born in 1994 in Limanowa, southern Poland, claimed third place on the day despite being involved in an earlier crash.

Meanwhile, Dominika Włodarczyk, a 24-year-old Polish professional racing cyclist riding for UAE Team ADQ, emerged as one of the breakout stars of this year’s edition by finishing fifth overall.

Separating the two Polish riders was New Zealander Niamh Fisher-Black, although Włodarczyk ultimately managed to secure fourth place in the general classificaion - just off the podium.

Polish politicians congratulate cycling success

Polish senator from the Civic Coalition, Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, applauded the Polish cyclists on their achievement. Shortly after, praise also came from other politicians via social media.

"Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney won the women's Tour de France last year. Today she confirmed her class by finishing third. And Dominika Włodarczyk sensationally took fourth! Well done, girls," the politician wrote Sunday evening on his X profile, echoing Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s praise.
