The new clinic will expand the hospital’s psychiatric services, which currently cater only to adults.

Świątek announced the donation on social media in late October, linking the gesture to World Mental Health Day.

The six-time Grand Slam champion has long used her platform to promote mental health awareness, having previously supported initiatives such as the Elephants on the Balcony Foundation, which provides psychological assistance to young people in crisis.

On Wednesday, Świątek will face American Amanda Anisimova in her final group-stage match at the WTA Finals in Riyadh.

The match, set to begin around 4:30 p.m. Polish time, will decide whether the world No. 2 advances to the tournament’s semifinals.
