Women’s football: Poland to face France, Netherlands, Ireland in 2027 World Cup qualifiers

Poland have been drawn to play France, the Netherlands and Ireland in the qualifiers for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil.

The Polish team will open its qualifying campaign on March 3, 2026.

The main qualifying stage will end on June 9, followed by playoffs in the autumn.

"Our opponents are certainly demanding, but we never stop believing in the beauty of our dreams," Poland coach Nina Patalon said after the draw on Tuesday.

Poland are ranked 26th worldwide by football's governing body FIFAFrance are No. 6, the Netherlands are No. 11, and Ireland are No. 27.
