Lech Poznań drew, while Jagiellonia Białystok and Legia Warsaw suffered defeats. The latter's loss sealed their elimination from the competition.
Thursday's Conference League matchup for Polish clubs got off to a rocky start. While Jagiellonia Białystok's 1-2 defeat to Spanish Rayo Vallecano at home was within the realms of probability, and the Poles were praised for putting up a good fight.
Polish Cup winners Legia Warsaw suffered an embarrassing 1-2 loss in Armenia against underdogs Yerevan's Noah FC.
The club from the Polish capital sealed its fate with this defeat, saying goodbye to Europe this season with just three points after five of six group stage Conference League games.
The situation looks much better for Jagiellonia - as even a loss against Dutch AZ Alkmaar in the final group stage game next week shouldn't cause them to drop out of the top 24 in the table - which means continuing the European adventure in spring of 2026.
Polish Champions Lech Poznań's home match against Germany's FSV Mainz ended with a 1-1 draw, despite the Poles' clear advantage against stronger opponents, and a Mainz player sent off more than 20 minutes before the final whistle. Lech currently sits in the 20th position out of 36 group phase teams, and is still uncertain of making the cut for the third-tier European Cup's further stages.
The only Polish club that continues to amaze in Europe this season is Raków Częstochowa. Defeating Bosnia's HŠK Zrinjski Mostar 1-0 at home on Thursday, Raków retained its unbeaten status and brags a full set of 15 points from 5 out of 6 games. This puts them 3rd in the table and just a step away from securing a spot in the top eight, guaranteeing direct qualification to the round of 16. Thanks to Thursday's win they are also the sole Polish club already certain of remaining in the top-24 and qualifying for the Conference League's knockout phase.
The final round of the Conference League group stage will take place on December 18.
Already knocked-out Legia will host Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps, Lech Poznań and Jagiellonia will travel to face Slovakia's Sigma Olomouc and the Netherlands' AZ Alkmaar respectively, in a battle to remain in the top-24.
Raków, on the other hand, will fight for the Group Stage Champion's title, facing Cypriot Omonia Nicosia away.
