The 24-year-old Pole, ranked world No. 2 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), won 6-2, 6-3 in their second-round match in Melbourne.
She will next face 31st-seeded Russian Anna Kalinskaya.
Świątek reached the semifinals of the women’s singles at last year's Australian Open, where she lost 7-5, 1-6, 6-7 to American Madison Keys.
The 2026 Australian Open started on Sunday and runs until February 1.
