Świątek, who triumphed at Roland Garros in 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024, will next face the Czech Republic's Sára Bejlek as she bids for her seventh Grand Slam title and her fifth in Paris.
Three other Polish players, Magda Linette, Magdalena Fręch and Maja Chwalińska. have also advanced to the second round of the women's singles competition in the French capital.
The 2026 French Open kicked off on Sunday and runs until June 7.
