The third-seeded Pole will face American Taylor Townsend, ranked No. 81, in the first round, after the draw for the championships was made on Friday.
Townsend, 30, has never advanced beyond the second round at Wimbledon, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
If she beats Townsend, Świątek will face either former Wimbledon finalist Karolína Plíšková of the Czech Republic or her 19-year-old compatriot Tereza Valentová in the second round.
A potential third-round opponent for Świątek is seven-time Wimbledon champion Serena Williams, who has returned to competition at the age of 44 after receiving a wild card from the All England Club, which organises the tournament.
Williams opens against Australia's Maya Joint.
Later in the tournament, Świątek could face familiar opponents, including Ukraine's Elina Svitolina, who beat her in the Italian Open semifinals; Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk, who defeated her at this year's French Open; or American Emma Navarro, who knocked the Pole out of the Bad Homburg Open earlier this week.
Second-seeded Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan is also in Świątek's half of the draw.
No woman has successfully defended the Wimbledon singles title since Serena Williams in 2016.
Świątek, a former world No. 1, heads to London after a second-round loss to Navarro in Bad Homburg, where she fell 5-7, 6-2, 3-6. It was the second time this year she lost her opening match at a tournament.
Elsewhere in the women's draw, Poland's Maja Chwalińska, seeded 20th, will face Thailand's Mananchaya Sawangkaew, who advanced through qualifying and is ranked No. 161.
Polish world No. 58 Magda Linette opens against fifth-seeded Mirra Andreeva, while fellow Pole Magdalena Fręch takes on 19th-seeded Anna Kalinskaya.
In the men's singles, Poland's Hubert Hurkacz, a 2021 Wimbledon semifinalist, will face 11th-seeded Casper Ruud of Norway.
Hurkacz trails Ruud 1-3 in their head-to-head meetings, although the Norwegian has never advanced beyond the second round at the All England Club.
Fellow Pole Kamil Majchrzak will take on 30th-seeded Alejandro Tabilo of Chile in a rematch of their first-round meeting at this year's French Open, which Tabilo won.
Majchrzak arrives at Wimbledon after capturing his first ATP title in 's-Hertogenbosch, where he defeated three top-10 opponents.
First-round matches will be played on Monday and Tuesday. Chwalińska, Linette, Fręch and Hurkacz are scheduled to play on Monday, with Świątek and Majchrzak in action on Tuesday.
The women's final is scheduled for July 11, with the men's final set for July 12.
Świątek last year won her first Wimbledon title with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over American Amanda Anisimova.
