Poland’s biggest metal music festival opens

A metal music festival hailed by its organizers as Poland’s biggest starts on Tuesday in the southern Polish city of Kraków.

During the two-day Mystic Festival, 29 bands will perform at the Kraków Tauron Arena.

The main acts include US metal band Slipknot, Denmark’s King Diamond and Sweden’s Sabaton.

The fest opens Tuesday afternoon with a performance by Finnish melodic death-metal band Omnium Gatherum.

Connoisseurs of heavy music will also have the opportunity to meet some of the bands during signing sessions.
