Saturday’s performance can also be viewed in 31 venues across Poland.

Polish singers are billed in two productions. Baritone Artur Ruciński appears as Lescaut in Massenet’s Manon on October 26.

Ruciński made his Met debut in 2016 and this season, in addition to Manon, he is also on the cast of a production of Puccini’s La Boheme (as Marcello).

Another Polish baritone, Andrzej Filończyk, sings the part of Cecil in Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda in a live HD performance on May 9, 2020. The production is a Met debut for Filończyk, who is 25 years old.

Live HD Met productions are broadcast to over 70 countries. They have attracted an audience of over 26 million since the launch of the project in 2006.
