The Warsaw Royal Castle is a member of the ARRE (Association des Résidences Royales Européennes) the Association of European Royal Residences, a net of thirty institutions of culture from 15 European countries, among them Austria, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy or Great Britain, the goal of which is to promote the knowledge of European common culture and heritage. Palace Day is one of the many initiatives undertaken by the ARRE, and this year palaces across Europe are joining on social media to share their collections and behind the scene pictures.
The 5th edition of Palace Day is devoted to music as one of the very important elemens of Royal Courts. Alongside its online presentations, the Royal Castle has prepared many attractions for visitors such as musical promenades accompanied by concerts in the royal gardens as well as various lectures.
The Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw, which also takes part in the Palace Day, invites for various events devoted to music among them a concert of 18th century European court music and a performance of artists from the Polish Royal Opera.
