The "fly-in" cinema in the town of Piła got off to a fine start at the weekend with the screening of the film Loving Pablo, Hating Escobar, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.
The movie was shown on a large screen at the local airport to an audience of pilots, who watched it from the comfort of their flying machines, the Polish state news agency said.
The organisers have described the venue as “the first cinema of its kind in the world.”
The effort was launched after drive-in cinemas made a comeback in some regions of Poland amid a coronavirus lockdown earlier this year.
