A fascinating exhibition opened on September 22nd at Barn Gallery, St,John's College at the University of Oxford.
Entitled "Lost Treasures of Revolution: The Graphics of Solidarity 1980-89" it presents the graphics of Solidarity , one of the biggest social movements of the 20th century, born in Poland. The exhibition explores the role that graphics played in building the movement and sustaining it during the difficult days of martial law and repressions by the then communist authorities in Poland.
