A number of broadcasters are expected to play and talk Polish music throughout the day as part of the annual initiative, with exclusive, Polish-music-only shows also scheduled.

The campaign is being held for the third consecutive year on October 1, with the aim of promoting Polish music and spreading awareness about the importance of music for the development of national culture.

The initiative seeks to support the domestic music market, and many broadcasters have vowed to increase the proportion of Polish music in their programming on this special day.

Klaudiusz Madeja spoke to Anna Ceynowa, head of Empower Poland, a foundation that helps organize Polish Music Day, to find out more.
