The concert, conducted by Italy’s Vanessa Benelli Mosell, includes Beethoven’s Symphonies Nos. 4 and 5 and Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki’s Agnus Dei from his Polish Requiem.

The event is part of a series of concerts under the motto "Solidarity with Ukraine."

Admission is free, and voluntary contributions from the audience collected during the interval will go for the support of Ukrainian citizens and organizations.

Established in 1993, the Youth Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine was in 1994 recognized as the best youth orchestra in Europe.

After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the ensemble spent some time at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice, southern Poland.

Its artistic residence there was supported by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and Polish cultural institutions.
