Lem’s Galaxy is an interactive website prepared to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Polish author Stanisław Lem (1921–2006),  one of the household names in sci-fi literature, an internationally renowned author of novels, short stories, literary criticism, and philosophical essays.

Visitors to the website can go on an interplanetary journey through the life, work, ideas and concepts of Lem, who is considered one of the greatest minds of the 20th century.

Available at Galaktykalema.pl, Lem’s Galaxy is notable for its extensive use of interviews the writer gave to Polish Radio over many decades. In this way, it is Lem himself who serves as the guide to his literary world.

Lem’s books have been translated into forty-four languages and have sold more than thirty million copies.

The 2022 Prix Italia competition has attracted over 320 entries from 83 broadcasters in 50 countries. Prizewinners will be announced at the end of this month and an awards ceremony is to be held during the Prix Italia festival in Bari, Apulia, between October 4-8.

Lem’s Galaxy has also received a nomination in the 2022 Prix Europa competition, in the Digital Media category.
