Rudzka picked up the award at a ceremony in Warsaw on Sunday for her book Ten się śmieje, kto ma zęby.
Meanwhile, Grzegorz Piątek's Gdynia obiecana. Miasto, modernizm, modernizacja 1920-1939, a book about the history of the Polish coastal city of Gdynia, claimed the readers' choice award at the ceremony at the Warsaw University Library on Sunday night.
Seven books were in the running for the top prize this year, including three novels and one volume of poetry.
The Nike prize has been given out since 1997 to authors working in various genres.
Writers who have won the award in the past include Nobel Prize winners Czesław Miłosz and Olga Tokarczuk.
Last year the award went to poet and translator Jerzy Jarniewicz for his volume of poetry Mondo Cane.
In 2021, writer and journalist Zbigniew Rokita was named the winner for his book Kajś. Opowieść o Górnym Śląsku about Poland's southern Upper Silesia region, a melting pot of cultures.
