The annual History Book Fair in the Polish capital promises to feature publications by some 200 exhibitors as it enters its 31st year.
Visitors will be able to buy books by publishers from across Poland as well as neighbouring Belarus, according to organizers.
The trade show's director, Waldemar Michalski, says the four-day event includes attractions such as meetings with writers, book launches and panel discussions.
A number of renowned writers, historians and independent Belarusian publishers are expected to attend the event this year, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Polish Radio is a media partner of the event, which runs until Sunday at Warsaw's Royal Castle.
