FOCUS :: "A Tiger Came into the Garden: Art of Maria Prymachenko"

An exhibition of works by the outstanding 20th-century Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko has opened at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. "A Tiger Came into the Garden: Art of Maria Prymachenko: is the first such wide-ranging presentation of the artist’s work in Poland.

Prepared jointly with the Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv, it features 89 of Prymachenko’s gouaches (watercolours mixed with chalk) from the late period in her life, and runs at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw until the end of June.
