The 2025 season of the project comprises 18 performances of Twelfth Night, followed by 12 performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Both productions are directed by John Weisgerber, a Canadian actor and director, currently residing in Poland. His first encounter with Shakespeare in the Park was in 1983 in Canada. It left a lasting impression upon him and inspired him to bring this internationally-acclaimed event to Poland. The first Warsaw edition of the Shakespeare in the Park project was held in 2016.

Weisgerber wrote on Facebook: “From the beginning, my dream and mission were clear: to form a dedicated acting company and present Shakespeare’s plays in the spirit in which they were originally intended - a shared experience that would Awaken, Enlighten, and Inspire. Through Shakespeare in the Park we aim to bring Shakespeare’s timeless stories to Polish audiences, in the Polish language, free of charge, so that everyone - friends, families, and especially children - can discover that same sense of wonder and connection that first moved me.”

The Shakespeare in the Park runs until August 3. The performances are held six times a week, Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 7.30 pm.
