The Rome concert was opened with a prelude and fugue by Johann Sebastian Bach - and the Polish artist also played compositions by Mozart, Handel, Paderewski, and Mirecki.
The bicycle journey from Wrocław to Rome took Łopuszyński 44 days. The Pole covered 2,200 kilometers, giving 10 concerts along the way. The idea for such bicycle concert tours came to him 10 years ago.
"I gave my first concert of this type during a bike trip from Augustów to Bełżec. Shortly after, I was invited to a festival in Zamość. I then decided to expand on this concept, and in 2022, I organized the Zamość-Odessa Tour project, the first bicycle concert tour project. Subsequently, other such tours followed: Białystok-Tallinn and Krakow-Istanbul"
- Stanley Łopuszyński recalled.
Next year, the Polish artist wants to implement an adequate bicycle concert tour on the Warsaw-Paris route. Łopuszyński is especially keen to perform in the city of his birth, the French Lille. As he told Polish Radio that he'd like to play there on the way to celebrate his 33rd birthday.
