A unique producer-singer duo Sw@da x Niczos, based in Poland's eastern region of Podlasie, is widely seen by the pundits as one of the country's most exciting music groups. The artists, recently nominated to the prestigious "Paszporty Polityki" award, skillfully interweave the local melodies and traditions with a wide array of modern urban-electronic genres from around the world.

Furthermore, quite likely Sw@da x Niczos are the only contemporary artists in the world who create non-traditional music in 'pudlaśka mova' - a local micro-language of more-less 30 thousand speakers that mixes Polish, Belarussian, Ukrainian and others, and results from the cultural melting pot that the region of Podlasie has historically been.

A music documentary titled "Podlasie Bounce Universe", which premiered on Youtube in recent weeks, showcases Sw@da x Niczos original style and their hypersonic route from the depths of Podlasie underground to almost winning a ticket to the main Eurovision contest - without compromising their art in any way.

Created by filmmaker Karol Moch, the 21-minute freely-available étude perfectly captures the ethnofuturistic spirit of the "Podlasie Bounce" phenomenon, while provoking viewers to reflect on local traditions dying out across the world in the XXI century - unless some local heroes like Sw@da x Niczos appear to save them.
