Tenor Piotr Beczała, a regular guest at the Met since 2006, will make his role debut in the title part of Wagner’s Parsifal.

Soprano Aleksandra Kurzak is set to sing the title role in Puccini’s Tosca.

Baritone Artur Ruciński, who made his Met debut as Sharpless in Madama Butterfly a decade ago, will perform Iago in Verdi’s Otello.

In the same production, tenor Piotr Buszewicz is cast as Cassio. He will also appear as Tamino in Mozart’s The Magic Flute.

Baritone Andrzej Filończyk is scheduled to sing Lescaut in Massenet’s Manon, while bass Krzysztof Bączyk will appear as the King in Verdi’s Aida.

Polish singers will also take part in three of the eight performances marking the 20th season of the Met’s Live in HD series, broadcast worldwide: Massenet’s Manon (Filończyk), Verdi’s Otello (Buszewicz and Ruciński), and Wagner’s Parsifal (Beczała).

Beczała is also slated to perform at a special gala in May 2027 marking the Met's 60th anniversary at its home in Lincoln Center. The programme will feature fully staged arias and scenes from more than 30 operas.
