Since 2023, the "Around The World" project by Polish non-profit Jazz Po Polsku brings the country's leading contemporary jazz artists to perform for the local audiences in various parts of the globe - at significant venues and events, and oftentimes in cooperation with esteemed local artists.

As part of this year's edition of the project, from April 4 till 14 Poland's Lemańczyk Golicki Sarnecki Trio will perform in Canada, promoting their debut album "NYC Session".

The trio was formed in 2023 by acclaimed, award-winning Polish musicians recognized on international stages: Rafał Sarnecki (electric guitar), Piotr Lemańczyk (bass), and Adam Golicki (drums).

During the tour, the Polish band will be joined by an outstanding Canadian trumpeter - Jacques Kuba Séguin - whose expressive style perfectly complements the trio’s European sensibility and modern sound. The artists will jointly perform the repertoire from the Poles' debut LP, as well as some of Séguin’s original works.

Jazz Po Polsku foundation's "Around the World" project is inspired by the achievements of mid-19th century Polish traveler Paweł Edmund Strzelecki, who was the first Pole to circumnavigate the globe.

Started in May of 2023, the project continues till today - and so far more than 230 Polish contemporary jazz artists' concerts have taken place in 25 countries across 3 continents in its course. Across the 2026 edition, Polish artists are scheduled to play tours in 15 countries across Asia, North America, and Europe.
