The 18-minute film, titled White Belt, will be screened as part of the festival's official programme, bringing it to an international audience.

The documentary, directed by Jagaciak's husband, Branislav Jankić, look at her career and personal life, offering a behind-the-scenes view of the fashion industry and the challenges of working internationally.

It follows Jagaciak as she steps away from modelling to train for a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament, redefining herself through discipline, motherhood and a fight for personal identity, according to the festival's website.

"White Belt is not just a short film; it's my whole life and 20-year career condensed into 20 minutes," Jagaciak said in a social media post announcing the selection.

Jagaciak, one of Poland’s best-known models, began her international career at age 13. She has worked with brands including Versace, Prada and Marc Jacobs, and appeared in campaigns for the likes of Chanel, Dior, Valentino and Calvin Klein.

Founded in 2002, the Tribeca Film Festival showcases films from around the world by both established and emerging filmmakers.

This year's festival will run from June 3 to 14.
