Poland’s theatregoers are gearing up for the Warsaw premiere of 'Anioł zagłady', a stage adaptation of 'The Exterminating Angel', the classic 1962 film by Luis Buñuel.

Scheduled as part of the Warsaw Theatre Meetings, the play is set to premiere on Friday (12 June) at the Teatr Dramatyczny.

Meet the man behind one of Warsaw's most anticipated events of this theatre season, the acclaimed Georgian director Data Tavadze, who is also known for his politically engaged works.
