The Jagiellonian Library will host workshops on book conservation, while other activities will address safety, emotions and responding to online hate.
This year's fair is themed “Attention: Another Human Being,” a quotation from the work of Polish poet and songwriter Agnieszka Osiecka, whose 90th birth anniversary falls in 2026.
The motto highlights the importance of empathy, sensitivity and understanding in human relationships, with literature serving as a way to bring people together, encourage dialogue and help readers better understand one another.
