Last year, Orliński won the Gramophone Classical Music Award in the Young Artist of the Year category.

Born in Warsaw in 1990, Orliński is one of the world’s most sought-after countertenors, feeling equally at home in Baroque opera, sacred music and hip-hop.

His honours include first prizes at the Marcella Sembrich-Kochańska International Voice Competition in New York in 2015, and the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in 2016.

He has performed at many prestigious venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall.
