As no new home has been found, the institution is likely to close, despite efforts by Polish and Swiss officials.

“The museum will cease to exist in the castle in 2022. It has to leave its premises. The decision is hard to understand and we feel rankled as the museum was created not only by Poles but also the Swiss and for many years we used to have close relations with the Swiss community,” said director Anna Buchmann.
