The Swiss artist won both the jury's vote and, thanks to the viewers votes, the entire competition. In the final round, they topped Croatia's Baby Lasagna and Ukraine's Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil. After Poland's Luna semi-final knock-out - this triumph sweetened this year's Eurovision for the Poles as well, as Polish artists were heavily involved in creation of Nemo's winning tune.
According to his website - Poland's Wojciech Kostrzewa, who co-produced and orchestrated "The Code", is a composer, arranger and orchestrator who completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree studies at The Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, under professor Marcin Błażewicz. He is currently enhancing his skills at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. Since 2016 Kostrzewa has been a lecturer at The Chopin University of Music in Warsaw - and in January 2021 he was granted a PhD in the field of arts.
Wojciech Kostrzewa won the 1st prize and the orchestra distinction award at the Composers’ Competition “In modo di Lutosławski”. He also claimed the 1st place and the audience award at the “Arboretum” Composers’ Competition 3rd edition, receiving Krzysztof Penderecki's special award from the maestro himself in 2017 too. In October 2018, Kostrzewa won the Composers’ Competition organised as part of Poland's Artists Association ZAiKS centennial celebrations - where he also received the audience award.
Nikodem Milewski is a Polish-Austrian multi-award winning mix & mastering engineer, music producer, and composer, who grew up in Łódź and is currently based in Vienna, operating out of the Sunshine Mastering Studios since 2013.
Following involvement in production of numerous Hip-Hop-oriented releases, in 2014 Milewski engaged in production of Klangkarussell's LP "Netzwerk". He recorded and co-produced three songs on the album: "Celebrate", which topped the Austrian charts, as well as "Moments", and "Symmetry". For this work - he claimed his first prestigious Amadeus Austrian Music Award, in the Best Engineered Album category. Overall, he’s won three more Amadeus Music Awards - 2020 (5K HD - High Performer), 2021 (Julian Le Play - "Tandem"), and 2024 (Bibiza - "Wiener Schickeria") so far.
This is not the first time Milewski has been involved with the Eurovision too. During the 2018 contest, he was a musical mentor for Mikolas Josef, the singer of the Czech entry "Lie To Me" - also responsible for the mix, mastering, and programming of Josef's song.
