The historic series, which has drawn around 3 million attendees since its inception in 1959, will feature performances at the foot of the iconic Chopin monument.
The season opener boasts an impressive lineup, starting with Polish pianist Krzysztof Jabłoński, a third prize winner of the 1985 International Chopin Competition, who will perform at noon. He will be followed by Italy’s Leonora Armellini, fifth prize winner at the 2021 competition, taking the stage at 4 pm.
Audiences can look forward to two concerts every Sunday until September 29, featuring a diverse array of talent. This year's performers include eminent Polish pianists across several generations, such as Marek Drewnowski, Karol Radziwonowicz, Jakub Kuszlik, and Aleksandra Świgut. The festival will also showcase international artists from Japan, South Korea, China, and France, reflecting Chopin's enduring global appeal.
The tradition of hosting Chopin recitals in Łazienki Park dates back to 1959 and has since become a cultural cornerstone, offering more than 2,700 concerts over the decades.
