And with Wagnerian productions few and far between in Poland, he now takes the part of the Dutchman in Łódź Opera's revival of their staging of Der Fliegende Hollander from 2015. In-between rehearsals in Warsaw, Łódź and Kraków Krzysztof Szumański found time to speak to Elżbieta Krajewska.
