Steczkowska was among the ten acts chosen by viewers during the first semi-final held in Basel, Switzerland. She performed "Gaja," a track from her latest album Witch Tarohoro.
Joining her in the final are representatives from Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal, and Ukraine.
This marks Steczkowska’s second appearance at Eurovision - her debut was in 1995 when she performed in the contest’s final in Dublin, Ireland.

During the show, viewers were surprised by a special appearance from Canadian star Celine Dion, who won Eurovision in 1988 representing Switzerland.
In a heartfelt pre-recorded video message, she shared how that victory was life-changing and expressed deep gratitude to everyone who supported her.

The second semi-final will take place on Thursday with the grand final scheduled for Saturday, also in Basel.
