Poland’s Ministry of Culture and National Heritage has launched an online search engine to help visitors and residents discover cultural events across the country. The platform allows users to search by location, region, institution, date, or UNESCO heritage status.

The database features hundreds of listings - from author talks, art exhibitions and outdoor cinemas to medieval re-enactments, children’s workshops and activities for seniors. It also includes suggestions for exploring regional culture every day of the summer.

Officials say the aim is to make it easier for people to plan their free time around cultural experiences, whether on holiday or in their local area. Events are drawn from cultural institutions nationwide, offering opportunities to discover “more than places — experiences that shape us.”

The initiative is part of the ministry’s summer campaign to promote cultural tourism and highlight Poland’s diverse heritage.

The search tool is available at the official website of Poland’s Ministry of Culture and National Heritage: gov.pl and can be used to plan cultural outings during the upcoming long weekend starting 15 August for Polish Armed Forces Day.
