"Man from Manufaktura" by Rafał Janiak is a contemporary opera that starts with the life of nineteenth-century cotton magnate Izrael Poznański. Winner of a competition launched in 2016 by the Grand Theatre in Łódź together with the Manufaktura complex which is located on the historic factory site.
