Presented under the title Christmas with The Queen’s Six, the programme spans music from different eras and traditions.
It features Thomas Tallis’s Videte miraculum, traditional English carols such as God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen, sacred works by contemporary composers, and selections rooted in American popular culture—including Mel Tormé’s The Christmas Song, famously recorded by Nat King Cole.
The setlist also includes perennial holiday favourites such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Jingle Bells.
The Queen’s Six was founded in 2008, the 450th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth I, from whom the ensemble takes its name.
