The series will examine the family from all three perspectives, exploring "what it means to live as a family under pressure, against a backdrop of historical change and power", according to Tushar Jindal of Prime Video's leadership team.

The project is described as "a documentary about a family in politics – not a political documentary".

The series will span several periods of the Kwaśniewskis' lives, from the years preceding Aleksander's presidency through his two terms in office between 1995 and 2005, and into the family's life after leaving power.

It will combine contemporary footage with previously unseen private video recordings from the 1990s and 2000s alongside selected public archive material.

The production is being made by Watchout Studio, whose previous credits include the Polish films Bogowie ("Gods") and Sztuka kochania ("The Art of Loving").

Kuba Mikurda serves as director.
