MM3 is a Polish trio based in Warsaw, which started in 2012 as a modern jazz band - but it gradually evolved towards experimental electronica, ambient, and techno.

The ensemble is formed by guitarist Michał Milczarek, drummer Mateusz Modrzejewski, and bassist Bartek Łuczkiewicz - all of whom infuse their sound with a layer of electronics.

After a several-year hiatus, MM3 returned this year with a new program and a new style, combining live instruments with an even more expanded electronic layer. On this occasion, the group now embarks on a May tour across China and Japan - taking place in the course of the 2026 edition of the "Jazz Po Polsku - Around the World" project.

From May 3rd to 17th, MM3 will play 12 concerts in the largest cities of the visited countries - including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Tokyo. It's worth emphasising that it is neither their first nor second visit to Asia - and the trio's previous exploits echoed positively across jazz circles in the region, especially in China.

Jazz Po Polsku foundation's "Around the World" project, which kicked off in 2023, is inspired by the achievements of mid-19th century Polish traveler Paweł Edmund Strzelecki - the first Pole to circumnavigate the globe.

So far, the project allowed more than 230 Polish contemporary jazz artists to play concerts in 25 countries across 3 continents - and its 2026 edition includes the Polish jazzmen tours in 15 countries across Asia, North America, and Europe.
